Philodendron tortum is a rare and incredibly attractive species with very characteristic, deep-cut and large leaves, which in appearance can be associated with palm leaves. It forms a climbing cut and in nature climbs trees and natural supports, so in home cultivation it will be best to grow supporting on vertical stakes. It is very recognizable for reasons on the unique list and in principle it is difficult to make a name for himself with another species, although at some stages of growth there is a similarity to filodendron elegans.
